Grilled Cheese Sandwich

This is a very simple and quick recipe, great for a quick morning sandwich.

Ingredients - for 4 sandwiches with 4 different cheeses

How to make it

  1. Spread the butter on each slice of bread, from edge to edge.
  2. Flip the buttered side over and add 2 slices of cheese to the inside that does not have butter, top with another slice.
  3. Put the sandwich in a cold pan (non-stick or cast iron) and heat over low to medium heat. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown before turning.
  4. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until golden brown and the cheese inside is melted.
  5. Let the finished sandwich cool on a wire rack before serving.
  6. Repeat for the other 3 cheeses.
